What is Market Cap?
Market Capitalisation (Market Cap) is the total price tag of a company. If you wanted to buy the entire company today, this is how much money you would need. You calculate it by multiplying all company shares by the current share price.
It helps classify companies into Large-cap, Mid-cap, and Small-cap.
